Social Mobilization

Environment

  • Provision of Safe & Environmental Friendly Option & Alternatives
    • Production of Seep Multipurpose Cleaner & Seep Fruit & Vegetable Wash.
    • Disseminated EM-Technology (Beneficial microorganism) to more than 2,000 progressive farmers in Pakistan.
  • Tree Plantation
    • Provided 2,000 free plants to make Lahore city green with the collaboration of Parks and Horticulture Authority, Lahore (2006-2013).

Solid Waste Management

  • Provided Technical Consultancy in “Community Based Solid waste Management System for Pattoki” (2006-2007). Funded by CIDA.
  • Provision of technical consultancy to Roshni Association in Hygiene promotion & SWM project for Karbath & Haer village, (2008-2009). Funded by Royal Netherlands Embassy (RNE).
  • SWM Situation Analysis Study in Kasur City (2008), funded by CIDA.

Wash

    • Water Quality Monitoring, Surveillance and Mitigation
      • Ammonium-Nitrogen testing survey on WASA tube-wells and factories located in Lahore (2009).
      • SEEP in association with FOCUS has worked in wall city Lahore, for WASH facilities promotion in schools (2010).
      • Provision of Safe Drinking Water in Schools of Polio High Risk UC’s in Multan City” financial assistance for this project is provided by Unicef-Lahore (2014-2015).
      • Sewage Treatment
        • Installation of compact sewerage water treatment systems in Rahim Yar Khan, funded by Unicef-Lahore (2013).
        • Installation of 7 Solar Powered Compact Sewage Water Treatment Systems in Peri-Urban /Rural Areas around Lahore for Water & Sanitation Problems” Funded by UNDP (2014-2015).
        • Low Cost Sanitation Project at Basti Machi, Kot Mithan- Chachran, with Solar operated waste water treatment system installation, Funded by WWF-Pakistan (June, 2015).

Women Empowerment

        • SEEP Women Entrepreneur Development & Support Programe (WEDSP)
          • SEEP under his women entrepreneur development & support program (WEDSP) project has established entrepreneurship in which there are women support clusters (WSC) of underrepresented minorities and home bonded women.

Poverty Eradication

        • Provided 3,000 Kg bio mineral packets to 1,000 livestock farms in Pakistan on no-profit basis to increase milk production (2010-2011).

Governance

        • Formation of Union Council Delegates in 19 union councils of Data Gunj Buksh Town, Lahore, Sponsored by Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment (DTCE).
        • Community mobilization for maximum participation in elections (2008), with support of UNDP & Election Commission of Pakistan.

Health

        • Mapping of most at risk adolescents in Lahore in collaboration with Phoenix Foundation, Funded by Plan Pakistan & Actionaid, Lahore (2012).
        • Provision of Office building to Health Department for monthly Polio Vaccination Campaigns.

Responding Emergencies and Emergency Relief

        • Provided 5,000 bags of compost on no-profit basis to flood effected farmers in Muzafar Garh region, Punjab (2011).
        • Distribution of food supplements in 500 Earth Quick affected families.

Community Physical Infrastructure

  • Low Cost Sanitation Project at Basti Machi, Kot Mithan- Chachran, with Solar operated waste water treatment system installation, Funded by WWF-Pakistan (June, 2015).

Alternative Energy

        • Installation of solar powered compact sewerage water treatment systems in Rahim Yar Khan, with the financial support of UNICEF-Lahore (2013).
        • SEEP has worked in partnership with PCRWR and Water Care Services, on development of sustainable model for rain water harvesting in deserts & solar power supported irrigation for cultivation of medicinal plants (2009).
